About

I’m a PhD student at Tsinghua University – University of Amsterdam Joint Research Centre for Logic (JRC for Logic) and the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam, under the supervision of Maria Aloni and Fenrong Liu. I’m involved in a joint PhD programme between THU and UvA (2 years at Tsinghua and 2 years at UvA). I am now in Amsterdam.

Interest

I’m generally interested in logical methods to philosophical or linguistic issues, e.g., Philosophical Logic and Formal Semantics and Pragmatics.

My current specific interests include: Logic of Desire and Preference; Monotonic Inferences under Modals; Modality; Philosophy of Language; Factivity of Epistemic Possibility; Disjunction; Behavior of ‘或’ and ‘还是’ in Mandarin Chinese.
